— horizontal jumps program

long jump.
triple jump.
Starts Here.

The horizontal jumps are where raw speed meets precision technique. Whether you’re learning to bound for the first time or fine-tuning your penultimate to optimize board contact — this is where that work happens.

— the events

two events. one pursuit.

The long jump and triple jump demand the same foundation — spring speed, elastic stiffness, and the ability to transfer horizontal velocity into explosive vertical power at the board. We train both with the same level of technical detail that we bring to every event.

Long Jump
Speed · Board Contact · Flight

The long jump is deceptively simple and devastatingly technical. Every inch comes down to how fast you arrive at the board, how efficiently you convert that speed into lift, and how your body positions itself through the air and into the pit.

Approach mechanics and run-up consistency
Penultimate and takeoff positioning
Flight phase and landing optimization
Sprint development and max velocity work
TJ
Triple Jump
Hop · Step · Jump · Rhythm

Three contacts. Three chances to lose momentum — or keep it. The triple jump is the most rhythmically demanding event in track and field, requiring elastic stiffness, body control, and the ability to maintain speed and posture through each phase.

Phase rhythm and horizontal speed retention
Elastic stiffness and ground contact training
Hop, step, and jump phase sequencing
Bounding and plyometric progressions

Coaching approach

we coach the whole athlete.

01
Speed First

Horizontal jump distance is built on the runway, not the pit. We develop sprint mechanics and approach consistency as the foundation everything else is built on.

02
Elastic Strength

Fast, reactive ground contacts require a trained lower leg and foot. We use plyometric progressions and bounding to build the stiffness and power that translate directly to the event.

03
Technical Clarity

Athletes don't just get cues — they understand why. Video analysis, phase-by-phase breakdowns, and intentional repetition give athletes the tools to self-correct and compete with confidence.
